A Senior Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in power generation, relay settings, plant facilities design, and microgrid projects is needed for a leading EPC organization. The Senior Electrical Engineer will design and create layouts for various electrical systems, including power plants, microgrids, and power distribution systems, as well as develop computer models, schematic and wiring diagrams, and prepare equipment specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. A Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electrical modeling software such as ETAP or SKM is preferred. Experience with military bases, central plants, and campus infrastructure is a plus.

  • Design and layout power plant sites, microgrids, and power distribution systems with medium and low voltage systems

  • Develop schematic and wiring diagrams, create specifications for equipment and systems, and perform design computations

  • Conduct computer modeling and analysis of electrical systems, including convenience power, lighting systems, grounding, and lightning protection

  • Coordinate technical efforts within discipline areas, managing design budgets and schedules

  • Perform project field site visits and prepare detailed reports, ensuring compliance with code requirements
