We now have a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Consumer business. Working within the Marketing Team you will be responsible for driving the NICORETTE brand across UK/Ireland (our largest brand and global priority market) with high visibility and a large media and marketing budget. You will report directly to the Smoking Cessation Squad Director, Northern Europe and will coach and develop 2 direct reports and 1-2 dotted line reports.

Internally you will be a key partner of the Global Brand Development Team and work closely with the UK NICORETTE Squad and the Ireland Brand Activation team.

What you will do

  • Drive the growth of NICORETTE as a priority brand across UK/Ireland and deliver excellent execution as per the new global operating model.

  • Full accountability to deliver the in-year full P&L and share targets, as well as shaping Nicorette UK/Ire Yr2-Yr3 local plans, deploying the strategy driven by the Nicorette Global BDT (Global Brand Development Team).

  • You will be responsible for working closely with the Global segment leads and the EMEA Deployment Leader to drive excellence in execution for Nicorette in UK/ Ireland (including integrated business planning, media and data driven marketing, perfect store, HCP engagement, revenue growth management and joint business planning with customers)

  • Partnering with the Smoking Cessation Squad Director to input into communication and commercial innovation needs.

  • Lead media planning and digital first initiatives across UK/Ire

  • Activate content & communication plans and have a deep understanding of consumer insights.

  • Collaborate with commercial teams to address challenges and build differentiated plans to unlock category growth with key retail partners.

  • Use analytical skills to shape and size commercial and Innovation opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to deliver excellent end to end execution

  • Develop and coach direct reports

Qualifications

Experience Required

  • An experienced Marketing Manager level with a strong track record of performance in a matrixed organisation.

  • Degree level educated or equivalent experience and brand management experience in an FMCG environment.

  • People management experience essential, responsible for coaching and developing talent.

  • You will have experience developing and activating content & communication plans, including media strategy and deployment, data driven marketing and a deep understanding of customer and retailer requirements.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L development.
