BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Test Systems Summer intern for an opportunity in East Aurora, NY!

This role is just for the summer. Job will end once project is completed.
Background
AG TE uses Pirana CMMS software for TE maintenance management. Just for East Aurora, there are over 1400 assets located in 13 different buildings that are tracked. All asset records have fields for dozens of attributes. The more we use Pirana, the more we realize how important it is to have data in the attribute fields. Unfortunately, when Pirana was installed, and the database created most of the attributes were not completed.
Activities
We would propose that an intern survey as many assets as possible and complete as many missing fields as are available.
This would involve going through each building and physically examining each piece of tracked test equipment and then entering that data into Pirana. The intern would require a laptop PC to they can enter the data as they complete the survey each asset.
Training for this would probably take only a few hours and would probably require about 500 hours to complete.
Opportunity
This would provide and clarify essential attributes regarding the test equipment. The intern would gain very useful information regarding the various AG locations and programs as well as the variety and complexity of the test equipment.
Requirements
Intern:
- Mobility through some tight and difficult quarters as they move around the test equipment.
- Data entry skills
- PPE: Safety glasses and footwear. Hearing protection and smocks if needed are available at each location.
- Laptop, Moog standard issue
- Pirana access with asset edit rights
