Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Principal Supply Chain Operations Compliance Analyst to join our team to support the Missile Products Business Unit within the Global Supply Chain function by analyzing key data sets to support strategy development. This position can be located at the Plymouth, Minnesota; Elkton, Maryland; Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; or Rocket Center, West Virginia facilities.

The following key areas will be critical to success of an individual in this role:

  • Systems:

  • Familiarity with Costpoint, Cognos

  • Experience in developing Tableau dashboards

  • Strategy Planning:

  • Support short- and long-term strategic plan for Missile Products using data analysis as basis

  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze supply base risks & opportunities, support program needs

  • Data Analysis:

  • Collect and publish data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes

  • Develop and maintain a central location for all common sources of data and information to be shared with internal customers and category team members (Sharepoint, Teams, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Interprets needs from Strategic Sourcing Team to develops, transforms, and models data and/or data-based systems to provide insights, enable decision making and improve performance.

  • Designs visualization and systems for consumption of analytical results; transforms raw data into actionable information. Identifies, communicates, and quantifies opportunities for leveraging analytics solutions and applying data analytics.

  • Acts as liaison with decision makers by providing data-informed strategic direction, and as a liaison with subject matter experts to obtain data sets and set expectations for potential of data analytics.

  • Optimizes organization's data collection, management, and utilization strategy. Communicates the potential impact of analyses and applicable data privacy policies, procedures, and regulation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 10 years of relevant experience. Will consider those with a bachelors degree and 6 years of relevant experience or those with a masters degree and 4 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with the following Alteryx, Python, SQL, Kubernetes, Streamlit, Web Applications, SAP HANA, and CostPoint Cognos

  • Experience with Global Supply Chain data, processes and procedures

Salary Range: $76,600 - $127,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
