Elizabeth School District Computer/Technology/STEM Teacher in Elizabeth, Colorado
POSITION: Computer/Technology/STEM Teacher
DUTIES:
- Works with colleagues to develop lesson plans and instructional scope and sequence
- Uses instructional data to develop instruction for daily use in the classroom
- Develops academic assessments to determine student mastery
- Develops methods of communication with parents/guardians regarding student conduct and academic growth
- Develops learning activities for students that may extend beyond the classroom
- Participates as an engaged member of the school staff
REQUIREMENTS: * Current Colorado Teaching License, or * Eligible for Colorado Teaching License
PREFERRED SKILLS: * Strong knowledge of Computer Applications (Microsoft), (HTML Programming, Dreamweaver, CS4) (Dreamweaver, Flash, Java-script) * Web Design and game design * Passion and expertise for working with middle school students in technology * Ability to work collaboratively within a strong elective team
WAGE: $43,000-$62,000/annually
SHIFTS: Days/180 Contract Days
JOB SITE: Elizabeth Middle School
