Insight Global Secret or TS Space Systems Engineer in El Segundo, California
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Secret or TS Space Systems Engineer supporting a DOD customer who's mission is focused on missile warning, missile tracking and missile defense in El Segundo, CA. The engineer will work closely with the government customer to support in the execution of space sensing architectures, acquisition documents, technology demonstrations, and product development - ultimately providing decision support to the customer. They will help to draft technical documentation, System Engineering Plans, Integrated Master Plans, Integrated Master Schedules, and contract deliverables as well as help to integrate acquisition plans, acquisition strategies, capability documents, and solicitation documents into the overall program.
Paying $72/hr- $82/hr depending on experience

Skills and Requirements
Active Secret or TS Clearance
Bachelors Degree in STEM
5+ years of space systems engineer experience
Experience supporting a space/satellite program in a SEIT or SETA capacity
Experience with program planning/ managing deliverables/ providing customers with decision support - Experience developing initial test plans for smaller non-Acquisition Category programs
Technical/ Software background: knowledge of ModSim softwares, MatLab
Experience supporting Space Systems Command or a Space Force base null
