Description We are in search of a competent HR Generalist in El Paso, Texas, 79911, United States. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be responsible for managing human resources activities such as new hiring, termination, transfers, or promotions. You will also handle administrative support tasks and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Manage employment records related to events such as new hiring, termination, transfers, or promotions using Human Resources Management System (HRMS) software.
• Prepare special surveys for the department as needed.
• Maintain job codes, salary grades, etc., in HRMS.
• Prepare and maintain Personnel Change Notices.
• Manage the coordination of employee recognition initiatives.
• Provide strong administrative support and excellent customer service.
• Prioritize and multitask with efficiency while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Use HRMS system for managing and organizing data.
• Administrate new hire orientations and terminations.
• Carry out Human Resources (HR) Administration tasks efficiently. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in an HR Generalist role
• Proficient in conducting New Hire Orientations
• Skilled in handling Termination processes
• Proven ability in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Experience in using HRMS (Human Resources Management System)
• Proficiency in using HRMS System for HR-related tasks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
