Providence St. Joseph Health Supervisor Environmental Services in Edmonds, Washington

Description Supervisor Environmental Services *This role will support oversight at both Swedish Edmonds and Mill Creek Emergency Department campuses. SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE; averaging 40 hours per week. Variable Shift; Monday-Friday, 3p-11:30p PST. Occasional weekend work is mandatory, but advance notice will be given. Supervises the Unionized workforce of assigned personnel to ensure work is completed in conformance with established policies and procedures. Assists in training employees to ensure their understanding of policies and procedures. Including any other tasks or responsibilities that are given by the Manager or Director of Environmental Services Department at any given time. Supervisor responsibilities will also include (but are not limited to) floor care/maintenance/machinery operation, supervision/collaboration with on-site Contractors, and visual/quality inspections in relation to discharging patient rooms/OR cleaning, patient experience pertaining to cleanliness, etc. Emergencies may arise that need to be addressed outside of typical working hours, for this SALARY EXEMPT position. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: 1 or more years of college. 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role with 15+ employees. Must have excellent customer service mannerisms and experience. Progressively responsible for scheduling, supply tracking and ordering, class room training and on the job training, mixing & usage of chemicals. Equipment maintenance, labor tracking, route of work flow, disciplinary actions & progress reports, HIPPA documentation disposal, Inspections & Audit tracking documentation.
