Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Edison, New Jersey
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Pay: $34/hr.
Shift: 5:30am - 2:00pm
Location: Edison, NJ
Job Description
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of electrical systems. Your daily tasks will include completing all documentation in ErPortal, closing out work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures including lock out/tag out. You'll also plan and install electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures adhering to job specifications and codes, and troubleshoot electrical controls and microprocessors for manufacturing equipment. Additionally, you will inspect electrical systems, provide engineering support, and assess the need for replacement parts. Your role will extend to assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment, performing preventative maintenance work orders, and diagnosing system malfunctions to correct problems. Facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing and painting may also be required.
