There may be some flexibility for the compensation depending on experience. What We're Seeking We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven record of providing high-quality technical support to end-users in a corporate environment. This position is a vital member of the Information & Technology team, responsible for delivering comprehensive day-to-day computing support to ensure the smooth operation of our information infrastructure and business processes. This role contributes significantly to the realization of departmental goals and business projects by assisting with the operation and maintenance of the technology that supports our growing business. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) - Provide advanced technical support to end-users, resolving complex hardware and software issues efficiently and effectively. - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components. - Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Implement robust security measures to protect IT systems and data from security threats and vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with other members of the IT team and various business units to plan and implement IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, to support knowledge sharing and continuity. -Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support and administration to provide innovative solutions and improvements. - Monitor and troubleshoot batch integration processes when failure occurs to ensure the accuracy of operational systems and business insights. - Provide level 1 troubleshooting to core operational systems and elevate to level 2 support as-needed - Perform routine preventative health checks of core network hardware. - Minimal travel required, up to 20%. What You'll Need (Qualifications) - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong focus on IT infrastructure. - Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and security principles. - Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, mobile device support, and other enterprise IT systems. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with end-users and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) are a plus.
