JOB REQUIREMENTS: Senior Accountant - DF1887 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Hourly Wage: \$71,430 - \$82,160 (candidates with significant related experience may be higher) The pay range shown represents the Chippewa Valley pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience. Description: Royal is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. The Senior Accountant will provide support to the Accounting Manager and other Senior Leadership with accounting duties and reporting, and be an informal leader to the Accounting team. As a Senior Accountant you will: * Assist the Accounting Manager to continue fostering team member relations and development of a high performing accounting department. * Complete financial analysis and cost-benefit analysis for key corporate projects, and execute projects with varying levels of complexity as assigned. * Research accounting codifications and standards to ensure products, services, vendors, etc. are being accounted for according to GAAP. * Mentor new and existing accounting team members and assist in primary training for new team members. * Assist with evaluation of potential acquisitions and merger opportunities and also assist with all subsequent accounting. * Assist with hedge accounting and other ongoing requirements as assigned. * Prepare the submission and documentation of the quarterly Call Report in compliance with NCUA instructions. * Complete the Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss calculation in compliance with GAAP and serve as the lead of the Allowance Working Group for environmental adjustments. * Prepare and provide analysis of Branch Income Statements and trend reports including the completion of income and expense entries for overhead. * Represent the Accounting team on corporate projects and provide cost benefit analysis for key corporate projects. Work Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt level position. Hours will generally be Monday through Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed.
