Georgia based Cosmo Cabinets is growing manufacturer of frameless kitchen and bath cabinets with a production in Eatonton, Georgia. Due to production needs, we are seeking members to join the team in our Eatonton facility. We are interested in Machine Operator Catcher who have been responsible for start-up and shut down of equipment, cleaning, meeting production requirements and most of all a good work ethic and culture fit with our company!

Job Summary:
Machine Operator catcher is responsible for offloading machined parts, inspection of quality and neatly stacking pieces on pallets. Catcher will be cross trained to load machines as well. The machine operator catcher should perform work via Cosmo core values C.A.R.E.S. as well as keeping the mission and vision of the company in mind.
Essential Job Functions:
Participates in morning production meetings. Follow safety rules.
Performs quality inspects parts as they reach the end of the production line.
Off loads finished parts and stack neatly according to procedure.
Continually catches product from the machine throughout the shift. If completed all orders, check with Supervisor to determine next task.
Utilizes the light system to alert material handlers when supplies for machine operation are low.
If machine is down for maintenance, the machine operator is expected to check with Supervisor for direction.
Maintains clean workspace and perform end of shift cleaning per procedure.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
Good verbal communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
Ability to keep the production flow smooth and efficient, seeking assistance when necessary.
Must pay attention to detail and manage time well.
Must be 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, and the ability to work overtime as needed.
Education & Experience:
Previous production, machine operation and warehouse experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be able to lift to 30 -60 pounds at times, team lift when necessary.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with a manufacturing environment.
