Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Easton, Pennsylvania
Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in EASTON, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be integral in managing and maintaining our accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and prompt payment to vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Obtain and verify approvals on all invoices in a timely manner
• Conduct three-way match of Invoice, PO, and Packing Slip to ensure accuracy
• Properly code invoices with the corresponding GL number
• Enter invoices in our accounting software for record-keeping and tracking
• Manage and approve all company credit card charges, as well as manage the online portal
• Update and maintain the vendor database to ensure up-to-date information
• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accurate payment and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain accounts payable files, ensuring they are organized and up-to-date
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the AP Supervisor.
• Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records

Requirements
