Job Summary: SLD is seeking motivated self-starters with a background in structural engineering to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to engage in all aspects of project work. SLD’s engineers focus on comprehensive building design at all phases of design and construction. The successful candidate will work on multiple, concurrent projects of varying scope and complexity under the direction of the project manager and can be guided through the design process with the assistance of their SLD mentor.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
•Minimum of 3 months’ experience with AutoCAD or Revit
•Adherence to SLD’s well-structured CAD, BIM, and Office standards
•Strong client relationship skills
•Excellent communication skills, both graphic and written
•EIT Certificate, with interest in pursuing licensure
Bonus Qualifications:
•Master’s degree
•RISA or other structural analysis program experience
•Hands-on construction experience
•Previous internship experience
•PE License
Compensation and Benefits:
•Salary: $66,560 and up
•Fully paid major medical and dental coverage for employee
