We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America.As a Senior Manager, Last Mile Operations at RXO, you will provide support to home delivery services for multiple clients and field operations. Youll also maintain positive and ongoing relationships with external customers, location managers and operators, while generating positive customer satisfaction.What your day-to-day will look like:Ensure compliance with specified contract metricsMaintain high standards for all operational activitiesHire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively; develop a contractor base teamDirect and guide front line management staffManage contract drivers who are operating up to 7 days per week in multiple regional locationsBuild relationships with customers to ensure continuous operating improvementsOversee P&LWork with national sales team to facilitate new avenues of growthWhat youll need to excel:At a minimum, youll need:Bachelors degree or equivalent related work or military experience5 years of operations experienceExperience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Project)Itd be great if you also have:Supervisory experience in a transportation/supply chain environmentP&L experienceProven leadership and collaboration skills with experience effectively supervising, coaching and influencing employeesExcellent analytical, communication and time management skillsIn this role, youll be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers.
