The Project Management Office (PMO) within the Thomson Reuters Professional Services department is responsible for delivering a positive and efficient experience for large departmental Federal, State, and Local governments projects with moderate to high risk for products such as HighQ and Legal Tracker. Thisincludesmanaging the projects' planning, design, progress, and closure,holding cross functional teams of senior professionals accountable for delivering results,as well as serving as the primarypoint of contact for both external firms and internal teams. We are currently looking for a driven, responsive, and client-focused Senior Client Project Manage with a background in working with both technical teams and end users on multiple concurrent, complex medium/large projects in the government sphere. This role willhave an initial focus on delivering project management services for technical engagements for Federal, State, and Local government HighQ clients, with a secondary focus expanding to project management for additional products and services as needed. About the Role The Senior Client Project Manager, Government will: Manage all phases of complex, cross-functional team and stakeholder HighQ Federal, State, and Local governments migration projects. Bringappropriateinternalteams (sales, technical consultants, solution consultants) together toaccuratelyscopethe feasibilityofprojects post-sale andprovidealternative solutionswhen projects aredeemednot be feasible. Set and manage expectations (timeframes, process, communications, etc.) with clientsat the onset of projects, as well as throughout. Lead projects through a flexible approach, including advocating for stakeholders and working with them to assess project management practices (i.e., Agile vs Scrum vs Waterfall) that best work with their goals and needs. Serve as the primary point of(meeting, phone,and/or email)contact for clientsduring projects and coordinating internally on behalf of teams. Collaborate with and hold internal teams (consultants, engineers, other project managers, etc.) accountable for ensuring deadlines are met and concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately. Attain the product/process knowledge needed to step intoperformhands-on project work when delegating is not an option,as well todiscuss product specifics with clients when necessary. Contribute to the goals and tasks of Professional Services, including assisting in the development of new offeringsand processes and providing internal project management thought leadership when needed. About You You are a fit for the role of Senior Client Project Manage if you have/are: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (project management certification(s) highly preferred). 7+ years of direct project management experience. 4+ years of experience working with high-level Federal, State, and/or Local governments clients, includingpractical and applied knowledge of government client needs from a process, relational, software perspective. Expectation of hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in office. Experience with HighQ and Legal Tracker or other legal business management systems highly preferred. Expertise includes but is not limited to waterfall project management methodologies, agile practices, change management processes, risk assessment, resource allocation strategies, project scope development, financial management techniques (EACs, ETCs), quality control measures, and team building exercises. Successful track record ofseeing projects through the full life cycle that are completed according to outlined scope and timeline. Strong emotional intelligence and adaptability in communication and project management strategies. Proven ability to build rapport with stakeholders and adjust approach based on individual needs and priorities, tailoring communication and engagement methods to effectively collaborate with diverse individuals and groups. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated a ility to understand and respond effectively to diverse communication styles. This includes the ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships with various roles within an end user firm (IT, staff, managing partners, etc.), as well as with various internal departments outside of Professional Services (Sales, Development, Operations, Support, etc.). Customer-centric approach with a keen understanding of individual client needs, able to solve problems creatively and flexibly. Experience working with virtual / remote teams across US time zones. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (Microsoft Project or other tools i.e., Monday.com). #LI-VR1 What's in it For You?
