You will also work with the team to build POC's and showcase what Thomson Reuters can do. About the Role: In this opportunity as Senior Backend Software Developer, you will: Develop new and/or update existing API's Test API's for functionality and/or compatibility. Work with cross-functional team to modify and/or implement API's for various databases. Document API development, implementation, and testing procedures. Work with team to develop and implement front end components in POC's for new systems. About You: You're a fit for the role of Senior Backend Software Developer if your background includes: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Related Field, or Equivalent Experience. 5+ Years of Software Development. Experience with Python development. Experience with .NET development Experience With C# based API development. Experience with SQL based database development Experience with JSON file manipulation. Ability to work independently with minimal instruction. Ability to problem solve with available resources. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $100,900 - $187,300. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $91,700 - $170,300. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
