Genesis10 is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer-Foundational for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: This position is responsible for ongoing development, maintenance, and support of existing systems and platforms. This position provides thought leadership and champions software architecture, software engineering best practices, innovative solutioning and Agile and Dev Ops best practices. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring technology solutions are designed to meet resiliency, stability, non-functional, functional, and operational readiness use cases. Responsible for ongoing development, maintenance and support of existing systems and platforms Provide thought leadership and champion software engineering best practices, innovative solutioning and Agile and Dev Ops best practices. Other duties as assigned. Required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 8 years of extensive technical experience in variety of application development or package software implementations Proven experience with multiple development and support methodologies. Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team. Technical Requirements: Microserivce Development with either Java/Spring Boot Testing experience including Unit, Load/Stress or other Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON /WSDL/XML) Database and persistence frameworks: Hibernate, MySql, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning Know how to integrate with API's Other: SQL Build/Deployment Tools: Maven, Gradel, Git, Junit, Mockito Front End: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React Nice to Have Skills: AWS knowledge and Lambda Functions Front-end: Angular Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Selenium, Nexus Repository, GitHub, Jenkins, ElasticSearch, New Relic Additional Qualifications Ability to drive innovation and be forward thinking Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team Established presenter of technical and non-technical material adapted to the respective audience Ability to transition abstract concepts into comprehensive technical solutions Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills Ability to drive innovation and be forward thinking Strong traits of decisiveness and judgment Excellent documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in computer engineering Experience working in an environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) Previous experience working in Agile/Product Delivery model.
