Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, diagnoses, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on numerical control, computerized numerical control, precision, and conventional machine tools, gasoline, diesel, and battery-operated vehicles, downhole drilling tools and motors, and other production equipment used in the development, manufacture, and testing of products. Areas of specialization may include: electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, NC repair, and machine tool rebuilding, mobile equipment, and electrical production equipment, positive displacement mud-motors, mud-operated pulsers, or downhole drilling tools. Uses measuring instruments and diagnoses and makes general repairs to production equipment. Determines replacement parts as needed. Performs limited welding, basic plumbing, and or grinding activities. Works from prints and schematics. Skills typically acquired through 2-3 years of experience.
