This position is responsible for performing skilled fabrication and welding repairs on trucks, trailers, and heave equipment. Welding techniques could involve MIG, TIG, spool gun, and stick welding processes. Also cutting procedures involving oxygen/acetylene, CNC plasma table, AirArc and piercing. The welder will be responsible for maintaining an organized welding area and performing routine upkeep of welding equipment. This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position. Position Requirements: * Must be at least 18 years old * Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Experience in all phases of heavy construction equipment repair preferred. * Physically able to perform the job functions including the ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and walk for long durations. * Able to communicate effectively. * Ability to listen and take direction. * Willingness to be a team player and help train less experienced employees. * Compliance with all safety procedures, rules, and regulations. * Completion of additional position specific skills training as required.
