Job Description
Our client is looking to add a technician to their regional IT team that covers the Atlanta metro area. They own a variety of car dealerships across Atlanta as well as a couple of other groups in North Carolina too. This team provides support to 8 main dealerships in Atlanta as well as a management office that houses PAG internal staff including a couple of executive level members. They are using mostly Windows machines that are running Windows 11 as well as some devices that are still on 10 that will need to be upgraded between now and July 2025. Currently, this regional team consists of the manager and one other full time technician and the goal would be to have someone come on as a contractor and then convert over to an FTE after 6 months.
Typically - the technician for the job would report to one of their main facilities in Duluth, GA and then from there provide support remotely or drive to another location during the day to provide support for the individuals. The furthest site away from the main locations in Duluth is about 20 miles. Eventually once they are full time - they would work in rotation with the team to head to Charlotte or other NC area dealerships every now and again. All travel would be covered once FTE and while on contract the time spent driving is paid + mileage reimbursement.

Imaging and refreshing of machines to Windows 11
Basic understanding and troubleshooting of DNS & DHCP
They have networking, AD, and server groups that would be escalated to
Remote troubleshooting experience
Hardware support, printer installation, getting things up and running.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
