WENDY'S INTERNATIONAL, LLC Lead Engineer - Data in Dublin, Ohio
Lead Engineer - Data positions offered by Wendy's International, LLC (Dublin, OH). Responsible for developing and executing all aspects of integrations between the various (source) systems and Wendy's Data platform. Responsible for leading the design of data pipelines and owning their development, testing and release working with internal and external engineering resources. Lead design and development of data movement (ETL) into and within the Wendy's data platform both on premise and in cloud, TL architecture design and working closely with the extended BI and Data Management team for opportunities to deliver "Data as a service". Design and build operationally robust data pipelines that can support efficiently and minimize escalations.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS or a related field and 7 years of experience in the position offered or 7 years of experience performing data modeling, data warehousing or building ETL pipelines. Requires 6 years of experience performing data engineering including building ETL/ELT, data warehousing or big data solutions; programming with UNIX shell scripts and commands; and communicating with cross function teams of users, other technical team members, and senior management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions, and data engineering strategy. Employee reports to Dublin, OH office, but may telecommute from any location in the U.S. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
