Translate design requirements into components to be used in manufactured products for clients. Review design specifications, client requirements and other data to understand requirements. Use computer aided drafting tools to design components. Review designed components to ensure that they meet requirements, including but not limited to shape, function, materials, cost, safety, etc. Revise designs to meet requirements and address client concerns. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and/or relocation will be determined by the needs of clients. Work with the following: Catia, Design of interior components, selecting polymer materials, physical and digital simulation testing. Position requires a High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of experience. One (1) year experience must have included: Catia, Design of interior components, selecting polymer materials, physical and digital simulation testing. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects.
