People Partner (R&D function)

Your challenge

In this exciting position with growth opportunity, you will be working as People Partner for Research and Development of the Business Unit Grooming & Beauty of the Personal Health Business in Drachten and Eindhoven. You will have an operational, tactical and strategical HR focus, working alongside Managers and the People Business Partner and act as the linking-pin towards People (HR) Centers of Expertise and Philips People Services, our Shared Service Center. In this environment focused on excellence, there is a strong need for excellent HR business support.

Your role

  • You will work closely with the business and People Business Partner (PBP) to understand and address business issues and to set up the People Strategy within the Business.

  • You are part of the MT of R&D Grooming & Beauty and provide support to line management and the People Business Partner, by implementing and executing the people strategy within the business.

  • You will apply core HR processes such as Talent Management; Strategic Workforce Planning; People Performance Management; Reward & Recognition; Health & Wellbeing.

  • You participate in HR (-improvement) projects on Cluster/country level.

  • You act as advocate for standardization in the execution of HR policies to realize operational excellence. Act as a sparring partner for the PBP on local implications and solutions for the business. Counsel line managers and/ or employees in employee relations procedures and support local organizational capabilities development.

  • You educate and support line managers in people management activities in cooperation with Centers of Expertise.

  • You support the Governor in all related Works Council activities.

Your team

You are part of the People Partner team Benelux, with 35 People Partners, that consists of 2 Clusters. You report to the Team Lead People Partners Personal Health, Markets, EF and ISC. You are based in Drachten.

For this challenging job we need a team player who recognizes the following profile:

  • Bachelor or Master (preferably Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration).

  • At least 5-7 years of working experience as HR Manager/HR Partner within an international matrix organization.

  • Experience or affinity with working in a R&D environment.

  • Business acumen and interest in business practice.

  • Winning mentality and persuasion skills.

  • A high level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Energetic, responsive team player who is keen to take initiatives.

  • Courage, authenticity and learning agility.

  • Written and verbal communication skills: Dutch and English.
