The pay range for this position is $17.81 -$23.39 per hour
The State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles, has a part-time vacancy for Security Officer II, SOC Title 33-9030 SEC GDS-GMBLG INV-L3. This is a part-time position and cannot exceed 29.5 hours per week.
SUMMARY:
To provide security coverage atvarious Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) locations by monitoring lobby activities and facilitating the enforcement of Federal, State, and local laws and departmental policies and procedures, ensuring the control and safety of staff and customers.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS:
Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma or high school equivalency credential. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience:
Two years' experience in law enforcement work as a NH certified police officer or accepted certification by Police Standards and Training Council, or as a security officer, a correctional officer, active military or veteran with honorable discharge, or combination of positions that would evidence possession of the requisite skills necessary for satisfactory performance at this level.
License/Certification:
Valid New Hampshire drivers license.
