SAIC Mission Assurance Lead in DORAL, Florida
Description
SAIC is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Mission Assurance Lead for our SCITES 2 Task Order. The Mission Assurance Lead will be responsible for ensuring the assurance and resilience of C5IM capabilities and assets (i.e., KT-C and MRT-C) that are critical for the execution of USSOUTHCOM strategies, Campaign Plans, and other crisis, contingency, and exercise plans and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a current Secret clearance and a proven track record in creating conditions that enable the warfighter’s ability to ensure freedom of action across domains to access and share information and maneuver in contested environments.
Responsibilities:
Mission Assurance Accountability: Oversee the assurance and resilience of all C5IM capabilities and assets across the entirety of the SCITES 2 Task Order.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment with USSOUTHCOM strategies, Campaign Plans, and other operational directives.
Mission Support Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of mission support requirements to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Operational Orders (OpORDS): Develop, review, and manage Operational Orders to ensure mission readiness and effective execution.
Readiness Reviews: Conduct readiness reviews to assess and enhance the preparedness of mission-critical systems and personnel.
Key Terrain in Cyber (KT-C) and Mission-Related Terrain in Cyber (MRT-C): Identify and manage key terrain in cyber and mission-related terrain in cyber to ensure operational effectiveness and resilience.
Cross-Domain Coordination: Facilitate coordination across various domains to ensure integrated and cohesive mission support.
Risk Management: Implement comprehensive risk management practices to anticipate, identify, and mitigate mission risks.
Contested Environment Maneuvering: Develop strategies to enable effective information sharing and maneuvering in contested environments.
Qualifications
Clearance: Must possess a current Secret clearance.
Experience: Extensive experience in mission assurance and resilience within military or defense operations, with a focus on C5IM capabilities.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of USSOUTHCOM strategies, Campaign Plans, and operational directives.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage and execute complex projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in risk management and operational planning.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Systems Engineering). Advanced degree preferred. & 18+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with USSOUTHCOM or similar combatant commands.
Prior military experience or familiarity with military operations and protocols.
Certifications in relevant areas such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Occasional travel may be required to support mission objectives.
