POSITION SUMMARY

To ensure the material supply and proper production planning to meet the demand of customers while optimizing Total Delivery Costs through LEAN initiatives across the Value Chain.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Based on MPS of 18 month rolling forecast, review the material requirement and place POs on time (with consideration of Leadtime, MOQ, quality checking, …) to ensure material supply meeting the production plan;

• Co-ordinate with all related Departments for studying and planning of all activities which will impact to production capacity in each year (Ex: machine/ equipment/building maintenance, product trial, quality testing, outing …);

• Co-ordinate with Demand & Supply and Production to review and deploy the weekly DPS based on MPS of 18-month rolling forecast and TAF available capacity, with the direction of choosing the best option for business - applying Optimal Production Quantity (OPQ) tool;

• Co-ordinate with related Departments (Ex: AG, F&C, QA, ME, Production) to ensure all new item, BOM, PV, STD Losses are created and updated properly and on time in system to be ready for production;

• Co-ordinate with AG & Procurement for sourcing and testing to validate the new materials as required;

• Work and follow up with suppliers to ensure smooth material supply according to the plan (Ex: forward purchasing orders/call-off to suppliers);

• Update and send the report of Output, PA, MSA on the daily and weekly basis to related departments;

• Rolling forecast GC requirement and update to CPCC for sourcing;

• Rolling forecast monthly RM/PM and monitor to meet stock target. Apply RPIO tool to set the optimal target of material stock level;

• Co-ordinate with Warehouse, QA, Import/Export for material receiving/product dispatch and quality control (Ex: testing, release, rejection);

• Co-ordinate with suppliers and internal departments e.g. with Production, QA regarding complaints;

• Monitor and report the weekly and monthly suppliers' evaluation, take actions if needed;

• Do daily health check in SAP to sort out the pending POs, obsolete items, PVs no more in use, blocked invoices.

Run reports in SAP to cross check the accuracy of data (Ex: MRA, MSA, Stock cover day);

• Have meeting (Ex: DOR, WOR, weekly DPS, MPR) with related departments to review/update status and discuss about plan, actions needed;

• Promote NCE via competency building and tool implementation to continuously improve the performance;

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Supply Chain Management or related field;

• At least 2 years of experience in Material/Production Planning; experiences in FMCG is preferable;

• Knowledge of Food Manufacturing is an advantage;

• Relevant operational experience at market/business level, in the following areas is beneficial:

  • Customer Service

  • Demand & Supply Planning

  • Sales

  • Transportation

  • Technical

  • Finance: Business planning, budget control, cost management.

• Having good negotiation skills; logical thinking;

• Having good Communication skills & Presentation skills;

• Computer competency: Good in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT);

• Intermediate English Level;
