Sr. Manager of Project Management Office (PMO) - REMOTE
The Sr. Manager of Project Management is responsible to lead a team of engineering project managers to plan, implement, manage and successfully complete the company’s major capital projects as assigned by the Director of Project Management. This position will interface with developers, architects, general contractors, engineering firms, permitting jurisdictions and are responsible to directly manage and supervise Niagara’s chosen contractors.
Essential Functions
Design, develop and manage the portfolio/program/project operating model and organization structure.
Develop and drive project portfolio/program/project management best practices and standards that will improve productivity, investment decision making and realize targeted business outcomes.
Responsible for the development and delivery of PMO roadmap.
Serve as the subject matter expert on tools
Defines and ensures use of standard methodologies, processes, PPM tools and reporting metrics (KPIs).
Tracks portfolio related status, issues, risks and dependencies.
Facilitates the process that develops plans and prioritization by leadership and governance
Builds relationships and acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and business partners in various departments
Provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to PMO team members, project managers and leaders
Manages a team of analysts/engineers and associated support resources.
Contracts with and manages the work product of external firms as required.
Travel – Minimum 15% to Maximum 35%

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
6 Years – Experience in Construction & Equipment Installation field
6 Years – Experience in Position, Food Or Plastics Manufacturing
6 Years – Experience in Supervisory Capacity

Preferred Qualifications:
10+ Years– Experience in Construction & Equipment Installation field

Competencies
Above average project and individual time management skills
Effective communication skills, verbal and written, to all levels of internal and external recipients
Experience in managing multi-million dollar projects
Above average skills in planning, budgeting, schedule tracking, and cost controls
Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and MS Project

$138,930.00 - $194,501.00 / Yearly
