As our National Account Manager, you'll take ownership of annual sales targets, develop and execute strategic plans, and implement proactive sales strategies to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth. Your ability to quickly adapt to new environments, excel in time management, and solve problems with agility will be essential as you navigate the complexities of the oil and gas industry.

Qualities We're Seeking:  

  • Proven track record of success as a high achiever, with a demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets  

  • Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of drilling fluids and their applications across all phases of well construction.  

  • Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at national account levels, including corporate executives, procurement managers, and technical advisors, to understand their business needs, objectives, and challenges.  

  • Exceptional time management and efficiency skills, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and maximizing productivity  

  • Adaptability and resilience, with a willingness to embrace change and navigate challenges with confidence  

  • Coachable mindset, with a humble willingness to seek feedback, ask questions, and continuously learn and grow  

  • Track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at national account levels, including corporate executives, procurement managers, and technical advisors, to understand their business needs, objectives, and challenges.  

  • Unwavering work ethic, passion, and goal-oriented mindset, with a relentless drive to achieve excellence  

Responsibilities:  

  • Own and exceed annual sales targets within the assigned territory and key accounts  

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base  

  • Implement proactive sales strategies to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities  

  • Convey sales targets in alignment with broader regional objectives and strategic direction  

  • Monitor and report on factors impacting tactical budgets and strategic direction of key accounts  

  • Establish best practices for approaching customers, analyzing opportunities, and prioritizing potential work  

  • Support and develop Clements Fluid's Sales Best Practice methodology across the sales team  

  • Supervise field sales activities to ensure adherence to prescribed standards and best practices  

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers  

  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs, objectives, and challenges  

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Clements Fluids through compelling proposals and presentations
