Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role involves manual-entry of accounts payable invoices, along with various clerical tasks to support our growing organization. This temporary position offers the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity, providing a chance for career advancement within our accounts payable or accounts receivable groups.

Responsibilities

  • Manually enter accounts payable invoices for integration

  • Perform data entry, organization, cross-referencing, scanning, copying, and retrieval of documents

  • Check incoming invoices and make copies before distributing

  • Create and update records with new files and information

  • Store all paperwork and invoices alphabetically in designated places to secure important documents

  • Manage vendor issues and maintain updated vendor files

Essential Skills

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to handle monotonous work such as invoice processing and filing

  • Experience with invoicing, accounts payable, data entry, manual entry, and filing
