Job Title: Protection and Control Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Protection and Control Engineer with a strong exposure in high voltage substation and transmission system protection schemes. Responsibilities include designing high voltage one-line and three-line diagrams, developing current and potential protection schemes, computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems, preparing specifications for equipment and systems, report preparation, applying codes and standards, and performing and reviewing design computations.

Hard Skills

  • Design of high voltage one-line and three-line diagrams

  • Development of current and potential protection schemes

  • Computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems

  • Preparation of specifications for equipment and systems

  • Knowledge of codes and standards

  • Design computations

  • Relevant experience with electric utility substations up to 345kV

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

Candidates with 8+ years of experience can opt for a fully remote setup. Those with less than 8 years of experience will follow a hybrid model. Applicants must reside within the Central Time Zone.
