Job Title: General Laborer
$18 - $20 Hourly Starting Wage (Weekly Pay)
Monday - Friday / 7am - 5pm / Available OT
Job Summary:
In this position, you will be joining a team working at one of the top construction sites in the Des Moines Metro area. Multiple projects lined up for the year. Projects are expanding with plenty of growth opportunities available. Seeking reliable/hardworking construction workers performing various construction tasks.
Job Description: (Will be trained in on all tasks)
Required to work off blueprints, utilize hand and power tools to assemble and mount trays, server racks, and closets, and work with low voltage cabling.
Will be trained to install data racks, closets, grounding for racks, and installing fiber optic cables/terminating low-voltage devices.
Clean and maintain the data center facility, including hauling/moving equipment/construction material around the site.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the data center.
Work Environment:
This job is performed in all working elements both indoor and outdoor.
Work is performed on an active construction site, with lots of equipment and material being moved around consistently.
Community work environment - multiple construction crews, HyVee food tent, and various locations around site.
Required to wear steel-toed work boots and jeans. Will be provided PPE gear.
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License
Pass 7 yr. back ground check and drug test
Able to work Monday - Friday 10 hour shifts, available OT on Saturdays
Must have at least 1 yr. experience in: Construction / Landscaping / Heavy Industrial / Manufacturing
