Our team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant with expertise in Money Transmission for CSG Forte Payments. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial transactions related to money transmission activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth.
We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who will: Manage and reconcile financial transactions related to money transmission activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards for money transmission operations. Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and optimize operational efficiency. Prepare financial reports, and support decision-making and strategic planning. Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and responses to inquiries from regulatory agencies. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in money transmission accounting.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience in money transmission reporting for a payments company (preferred). Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for money transmission operations, including but not limited to FinCEN, NMLS, and state licensing regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems (Oracle and Blackline). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders. Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience. $64,938.52-$103,901.85
