SR-Level Electrical Engineer
Job Description
This exciting opportunity will allow you to join a project team of skilled engineers and designers focused on the design, modification, and analysis of electrical systems in power and energy, industrial, and renewable energy solar PV projects. Your tasks will include power distribution designs, preparation of specifications for electrical power
equipment procurement, project management support, systems design coordination and preparation and review of functional design drawings and detailed
calculations. You will also interface with vendors, prepare technical reports, perform independent reviews, and mentor less experienced engineers. Additionally, you will occasionally travel for design reviews and site coordination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program is required. An emphasis in power systems is preferred.
PE license or EIT/FE
5+ or more years of experience in power plant or industrial plant design, with a focus on integrated, detailed system design for new facilities, or modifications or replacements for existing facilities.
Experience in the selection of equipment, materials, control philosophy, and the preparation and assembling of calculations and specifications.
Experience with electrical system design including medium and low voltage distribution systems (transformers, generators, motors), communication systems, --equipment selection, and analytical calculations.
Experience performing calculations in ETAP and/or SKM.
Technically knowledgeable of available electrical power distribution equipment.
Experience with serving as firm/client liaison in a support or lead engineering role
Experience in reviewing other engineers’ design calculations and drawings.
This position in based in Casper, WY and may require occasional travel.

Requires relocation to Casper, WY with a relocation package of $6,000 provided. Travel to Green River, WY for one week each month with expenses covered for hotel, mileage, and meals.
