Medical Assistant needed for a temp-hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Denver, CO!
Top Skills Should You Possess: At least one (1) year of experience in Primary Care or Occupational Medicine; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus
What You'll Be Doing: Checking in patients Scheduling appointments Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Vaccine administration Assist with drug testing, audiometry testing, and physical strength testing Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM (may include a rotation to the weekend shifts for 1 weekend per month)
What You Need to Bring to the Table: High school diploma or GED MA certificate, through completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Current BLS certification At least one (1) year of experience in Primary Care or Occupational Medicine; previous experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or Family Practice setting a plus Previous experience with injections, drug testing, and audiometry testing a plus Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred Excellent customer service skills Positive attitude, high energy, self-starter and independent thinker
