JOB SUMMARY: The Manager I, Community Engagement is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and engagement within local communities throughout Colorado, as well as working with our retail stores throughout Colorado to connect our social enterprise colleagues with our mission. This role reports to the Director of Customer Experience and Marketing and involves building and maintaining relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to support Goodwill's mission. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Community Outreach and Partnership Development: * Develop and implement community outreach programs to increase awareness and support for Goodwill's mission and services. * Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key community partners, including businesses, schools, civic organizations, and other nonprofits. * Represent Goodwill at community events, meetings, and forums to promote the organization's programs and services. Event Planning and Coordination: * Plan, organize, and execute community engagement events at our retail stores. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful event logistics, including marketing, registration, and on-site coordination. * Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of events and activities, adjusting as needed to improve future initiatives. Retail Store Mission Adoption: * Work with Store Managers across Colorado to "adopt a program" from within Goodwill of Colorado's suite of programs, with the objective of engaging our social enterprise workers with our mission Communications and Marketing Support: * Work with the communications team to develop and distribute outreach materials, including newsletters, brochures, and social media content. * Assist in creating compelling stories and testimonials that highlight the impact of Goodwill's programs and services. * Maintain an updated calendar of community events and opportunities for engagement. Data Management and Reporting: * Track and report on community engagement activities and outcomes. * Maintain accurate records of volunteer participation and community partnerships. * Provide regular updates to the VP of Marketing and Development on the progress and impact of community engagement efforts. Education: * Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or business management related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience in sales, business development and account management. Experience: * Minimum Qualification: 5-8 years of experience in community engagement, volunteer management, or nonprofit program coordination. Other: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. * Strong organizational and project management abilities. * Ability to build and mai tain relationships with diverse community members and stakeholders. * Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for community events. * Event planning *Per contract requirements with vehicle insurance provider: Qualified candidates must be 21 years of age and have no major traffic violations for previous 3 years (for driving/insurance purposes). Must have reliable transportation; must also be able to operate company vehicle.
