Stellar Solutions is seeking a seasoned HR Director to join our team. The successful candidate will shape a growing company in the dynamic world of outer space, supporting engineering experts engaged in and across Intelligence, Defense, Civil, Commercial, and International programs. You will join a team of leaders collaborating to deliver mission success as an integral member of the team, orchestrating the moving parts involved in personnel management. Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications

This HR Director position is hands-on, day-to-day, and will serve to balance HR strategies and tactical plans to maintain an effective customer (employee) service focused organization. A successful candidate is collaborative, strategic and tactical, with meticulous attention to details, accountable, and high touch, i.e., accessible, available, and directly involved as the champion for the employee experience. Experience necessary for the position includes development, implementation, interpretation, and application of policies and procedures; application of strong people skills for effective employee relations; managing and administering compensation, HRIS experience (ADP preferred), onboarding/offboarding, benefits programs, training, professional development, and performance management. The HR Director must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written), build and maintain synergistic relationships with employees at all levels of the organization and across a diverse range of backgrounds; and the ability to systematize complex and diverse work environments/work force, effectively manage staff and strategically work with senior management to positively impact

The HR Director supervises the payroll, benefits, and administration teams across our offices in CA, CO, and VA. Your Impact in this Role: Management leadership and oversight of the Human Resources policies, processes, and procedures including updating maintenance of Employee Handbook, in accordance with state/federal regulations. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations including External: Dept of Labor, Affirmative Action, Employment Eligibility, EEO, FMLA, COBRA, VETS, Medicare, HIPAA, ADAAA, FLSA, OSHA, Form 5500, etc. Provide direction on all employment matters such as investigations, conflict resolution, review and approve Personnel Actions, to include wage changes, progressive discipline, Performance Improvement Plans, and Involuntary Separations. Serve as primary liaison with Attorney and "C-Suite" Executive staff regarding personnel matters where legal review, litigation, or external Government agency actions are involved. Serve as lead liaison with benefits broker, understand industry trends, and play a key role in the annual benefits and incentive program selection and renewal process and provide the management oversight for Open Enrollment for the company. Provide management oversight for the maintenance of mandatory and non-mandatory training compliance for all employees. Reviews and approves qualified education expenses and tuition reimbursements submitted by employees. Provide oversight/conduct research and maintain market-based compensation plan. Prepares and manages the Employees Incentive Plan program.
