Robert Half Compensation & Benefits Specialist in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in the Investment Management industry, located in Denver, Colorado. The role involves managing day-to-day benefits operations with a strong focus on leaves of absence, benefits enrollment, and various administrative tasks to support the benefits function.

Responsibilities

• Manage group benefits program operations for all employees.

• Respond to escalated benefits inquiries from employees and vendors.

• Oversee and maintain summary plan description records and associated forms, paperwork, and communication.

• Assist in managing 401(k) loan and portal corrections.

• Handle life insurance claims and support claimants in the claims process.

• Manage the Open Enrollment Process.

• Track escalation matters, liaising between management, HR, Benefits Management and Payroll as required.

• Act as the primary contact for individuals seeking information about benefits, benefits enrollment, FMLA, and LOA’s.

• Document internal operational processes and propose process updates to the Benefits Manager.

• Review enrollment activity and deductions monthly for reconciliation to benefits billing and funding steps.

• Handle employment verification and benefits coordination requests.

• Provide daily administration support of benefit plans according to company policies. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience Benefits Administration with strong exposure to Leaves of Absence

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is essential

• Demonstrable experience in Benefit Functions

• Proven track record of successful Claim Administration

• Solid understanding and application of Compensation Administration practices

• Knowledge and experience in Compliance

• Experience in Leave Administration is required

• Strong understanding of the complexities and processes with Leave of Absence and FMLA policies and procedures

• Must have experience in Benefits Administration
