PANASONIC CORP OF NORTH AMERICA Business Development Manager - Aperion in Denver, Colorado

Drive the success of the Aperion business to meet and/or exceed annual revenue and profit quotas for the product line of this start up business.

Roles & Responsibilities The focus of this role is to sell the Electronic Shelf Label product portfolio to customers in an assigned area. Establish relationships with prospects, understand needs and buying processes, and identify appropriate Retail Technologies to solve problems for our customers. Work with Hussmann, and other Panasonic sales organizations, to coordinate account and sales objective planning and strategies as appropriate. Submit sales paperwork and reports as required, e.g., activity reports, forecasts, sales order paperwork, project execution paperwork, single sales objective strategy documents, account strategy documents. Use CRM as the primary tool for data capture and reporting. Work closely with the execution teams to ensure "handoffs" are managed efficiently and effectively, and customer expectations are met or exceeded. This includes assistance with the coordination of delivery and oversight of installation of the product. Other duties as assigned in a startup environment.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree required. Must have 5+ years of sales experience with a digital product line. Must have experience penetrating new accounts. Must have been trained or demonstrated strategic thinking/planning skills around the sales/ buying process (EX: Miller Heiman Strategic Selling). Must possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be market savvy with well-developed negotiating and closing skills. Must have demonstrated outstanding problem-solving abilities. Must have the ability to travel up to 75%.

Skills

Food retailing experience/knowledge preferred. Sales of both hardware and software products preferred.

Closing Date: July 1, 2024 The salaryrange of $50,050 - $96,250 is just one component of Hussmann's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage
