Overview of Position: As a Facilities Maintenance Associate (Utility) at MMS, you'll perform mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches, etc. This is a mid-level position designed for those who wish to continue developing their skills and continue their career journey in the facilities maintenance field.

Location / Hours / Compensation: Denver, CO, Full-Time, 2nd Shift Available, Monday-Friday The successful candidate may be asked to work weekends and overtime on a regular basis, hours will flex as business requires. Starting wage offer will be based on candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Desired Qualifications: To be seriously considered for this role, the successful candidate should have the following regarding: Experience: At least 2 years' experience in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities Education: High school diploma (or equivalent), Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar program is not required but would be strongly Skills: Successful candidates have basic to mid-level mechanical and electrical skills (including electrical maintenance, HVAC, and mechanical repair) with the aptitude to learn advanced skills. You should have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems; analyze information and to make an informed decision based on that information; identify root causes and corrective actions; adhere to all safety regulations and policies; and actively participate in job training opportunities for career dev Characteristics: This position is supervised; however, the successful candidate should have the ability to work independently or with a team while carrying out verbal and written instructions from supervisor. Other requirements: Must have a valid state driver's license, vehicle insurance and dependa le vehicle. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of U.S. Requirements Responsibilities: Under supervision performs mid-level break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to observing devices in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools. You may als Support and back up other team members as directed by leadership. Update records in CMMS. Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards. Provide inputs in CI activities-processes, results, and cost savings. Perform carpentry and plumbing tasks. Setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: CNC, lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Perform welding tasks.
