In the role of Materials Manager, you'll support the complete cycle of material flow—from the procurement and control of materials to the planning and control of work in process and the finished product. This position contributes to our vision by:
Ensuring the alignment of the materials management strategy with the business strategies driving sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing.
Demonstrating ability to consistently deliver products and services to meet the customer's needs.
Developing materials storage and delivery processes supportive of manufacturing operations.
Implementing the correct process for in bound and out bound material tracking.
Determining departmental inventory management strategies and objectives.
Managing an efficient process for production scheduling, master production scheduling, MRP, demand management, S&OP, and stock policy.
Identifying creative solutions and proactively implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness on the supply chain team.
Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements
At Safran Electrical & Power, we seek service-oriented team players with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, adaptable to our innovative and evolving environment.
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Prefers 6 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, planning, or a related field.
Prefers 3 or more years of leadership experience.
Verbal and written communication skills - Expert
Preparing & presenting complex data to senior management - Expert
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) - Expert
Knowledge of Production Scheduling, Master Production Scheduling, MRP, Demand Management, S&OP, and Stock Policy. - Expert
Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Expert
Business acumen - Advanced
Leadership skills – Advanced
Prefers APICS CPIM
Prefers Lean Six Sigma Certification
