Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Job Description
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and compliance within the food manufacturing environment. This role involves monitoring the condition of equipment and facilities, identifying maintenance needs, and developing schedules for regular and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The manager will coordinate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining records, managing the maintenance department budget, selecting external contractors, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Leadership and guidance to the maintenance staff are crucial to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Hard Skills
Experience leading team of 5+ Mechanics
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automation technologies
Familiarity with food safety regulations and HACCP principles

Work Environment
Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm, requiring 50+ hours per week
