THE POSITION: As a Process Engineer, you will design, develop, source and improve state of the art manufacturing processes for mechanical and electrical products. Working with cross functional teams you\'ll create new processes, support them daily, and improve them to achieve performance objectives. Using your problem-solving expertise, you\'ll actively help drive and improve: Safety performance by supporting job hazard assessment actions Quality performance through COPQ improvements in: FPY, scrap and warranty returns. Delivery performance through: Quality improvements noted above Increased production velocity through the facility Reduction of cycle time Reduction of WIP Improvement in OEE and equipment MTBF. Cost performance through the above improvements as well as: Working with the Design and New Product Launch teams to apply lessons learned to new products. You\'ll be responsible for creation and maintenance of documentation such as work instructions, PFMEA, Control plans, PFLOWS equipment PMs You\'ll learn to properly use and apply lean tools such as VSM, Standard work, SMED, TPM, and 5S to achieve company objectives. You\'ll be responsible for new capital projects from identification of need through justification, acquisition, implementation and validation. You\'ll work with internal and outside suppliers to develop fixtures and tooling. You\'ll be responsible for improving and monitoring operational costs for production equipment by leading actions to optimize OEE. Support TPM practice by providing mentoring and training to peers, technicians, and operator personnel. Self-manage professional development and training, by identifying and setting up trainings with equipment suppliers and automation vendors REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering: Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related field Basic knowledge of 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD / Solid works/Creo) Basic knowledge of programming languages (C++, visual basic, python, ladder logic) Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Manufacturing related internship.
