Cognizant Sr. ETL/Oracle Developer in Deerfield, Illinois
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer. Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in software development with expertise in ETL tools hands on experience with Talend ETL. Must be proficient in designing and coding independently for assigned modules.
Experience working with Talend Integration Cloud Talend Administrative Console Talend Remote Engine Components and Talend Enterprise. Familiarity with Ab Intio and Oracle data sources is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL processes using Talend to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
Utilize Unix commands to manage and automate scripts for data processing tasks.
Design implement and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code to support application requirements.
Conduct thorough Oracle Database PL/SQL testing to ensure data integrity and performance.
Perform Oracle Performance Tuning to enhance database efficiency and reduce latency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ETL and database-related issues.
Ensure data quality and consistency across various data sources and systems.
Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development of best practices for data integration and database management.
Support the team in achieving project milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience with ETL Tool
Talend.
Must be proficient in Unix Commands for data processing tasks.
Must have expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development and optimization.
Must have experience in Oracle Database PL/SQL Testing.
Must have skills in Oracle Performance Tuning.
Nice to have experience in Multi Channel domain.
Should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Should be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks.
Should be proactive in identifying and addressing technical challenges.
Should be committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
Should be adaptable to a hybrid work model.

Salary and Other Compensation :
Applications will be accepted until April 2, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
