Our client, in Decatur, TX is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
Location: Decatur, TX
Pay Range: $30- $35+ DOE
What’s the Job?
Troubleshoot production issues with support from the maintenance team and/or engineering
Repair blowers, vacuum pumps, industrial gas-fired furnaces, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Troubleshoot, electrical components such as contactors, switches, relays, and controllers
Walk the production line daily and look for abnormalities in the equipment
Will support the installation of new equipment, retrofitting of old equipment, and facility capital projects
Support projects and help improve the manufacturing process
Train operators to improve day-to-day machine operations and update documents if needed
Maintain a clean and safe work area. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Safely perform duties and observe approved safety procedures.
Identify areas to improve or create PM procedures to reduce equipment failures
Work as a team or independently as the tasks require
Be exposed to hot and cold climates, and dusty or dirty environments
What’s Needed?
5+ year's experience as Industrial Maintenance Tech
HS Diploma
Capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws
Read P&IDs, wiring schematics, and engineering drawings
Knowledgeable with machine shop equipment like milling, lathes, drill presses, band saws etc.
