As the XVL Product Marketing Manager, your role is to lead a cross-functional effort to synthesize customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis and integrate the voice of the customer from around the world to provide concise, actionable, and data-driven technology strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance the Ford ownership experience.

This role is hybrid out of Dearborn, MI.

What you'll do…

The XVL Product Marketing Manager provides strategic direction to lead the following:

  • Serve as centralized, global voice of the customer to Tech Strategy & Planning, PD, Integrated Services, and adjacent teams to develop and implement forward model tech feature and experience strategies.

  • Consolidate cross vehicle Marketing POV and develop robust processes for Ford+ initiatives: Modularity, Complexity, & Cost Attack / TVM; Synthesize input from multiple program teams into a clear, concise, & optimized path forward.

  • Lead analyses to construct business cases/voice of the customer/marketing POV on any decisions that extend across multiple vehicle lines.

  • Maintain strong and collaborative relationship with program Product & Consumer Marketing Managers to develop efficiencies and planning opportunities across the product portfolio.

As a XVL Product Marketing Manager you will own:

  • Feature Prioritization: Evaluate & advocate for key tech features based on customer demand and segment competitive assessments.

  • Feature Experience Development: Partner with Tech, Strategy, & Planning and Engineering teams to bring features to life in the way our customer expertise and research suggests; Co-create with vehicle level Product Marketing teams to ensure strategy is optimized for all vehicle lines/target customers.

  • Revenue Generation / Pricing: Partner with Marketing Finance to study the amount a customer is willing to pay for a given feature (understand customer demand and competitive assessment).

  • Offering Strategy / Take Rates: Study the percentage of customers within a vehicle line / vehicle segment that will opt for given features.

  • Vehicle Program Feature Implementation: Deploy approved tech strategies to vehicle Product Marketing (share from à To, migration plan, provide implementation support)

  • Nomenclature: Name new tech related features consistent with brand strategy & target customers

  • Run XVL forums that support feature integration & socialization, support DPAC, & process initiatives

You will have…

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience providing business cases based on data for a product

  • Understanding of the U.S. product, consumer, and dealer marketplace.

  • Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills required for senior management interaction.

  • Overall business acumen and ability to develop innovative strategic and tactical actions.
