Job Title: Test Lab Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Test Lab Technician and play a pivotal role in our engineering and testing facility, primarily serving the automotive sector. With a new $500 million testing machine, your expertise is needed to conduct precise tests, ensuring quality and precision over speed. You will start with a dedicated mentor and manage multiple projects, collaborating with engineers to prioritize daily and weekly tasks.
Hard Skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams
Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of basic hand tools, torque wrenches, and measurement tools
Knowledge of dial indicators, micrometers, and basic metrology measurements
Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Basic machine shop skills including lathe, bandsaw, grinders
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Soft Skills
People skills
Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
