Ford Motor Company PTME Controls Implementation Engineer in Dearborn, Michigan
Support controls engineering deliverables for programs, from simultaneous engineering through program launch for all NA sites.
Implement and apply standard software and hardware controls architectures across all programs, following the controls specification.
Ensure the identification and capture of lessons learned along with their application to new programs, including the impact to our standards.
Support simultaneous engineering meetings with Tier I suppliers to orchestrate controls program reviews with all interested parties.
Participate in management program reviews and represent the controls organization in commodity discussions.
Drive the controls organization to resolve issues, including feasibility, timing, cost and workload.
Deliver new model program work for PT programs supporting and working in either SE MI, OH or Windsor, ON

Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree In Electrical, Software or Mechatronics- pursuing and received by or before September 2024
One to Five years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
SG5 to SG8
Preferred requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
Experience in controls engineering with strong ability to quickly learn and apply controls knowledge
FC/FB Editing and creation
software programming experience - Siemens preferred
Direct program experience with assembly and machining controls architectures
Hands-on knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and fix PLC, CNC, robot, vision and other automation issues
Knowledge of international electrical/safety standards (UL, ISO, IEC etc)
