HR Generalist III Location US- ID 2024-1577 Category Human Resources Position Type Full-time Regular Remote Yes Overview JOB TITLE: HR Generalist III MARKET/PRACTICE/DISCIPLINE/SECTOR: HR Operations Job Summary: The HR Generalist III will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new employees as they join our organization and provide support with Woolpert's human resources functions, including Leave Administration. Responsibilities: Onboarding Program Development: Collaborate with HR and departmental managers to develop an effective onboarding program that aligns with the organization's goals and culture. Create onboarding checklists, materials, and resources to support new hires during their transition period. Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding process based on feedback and best practices. New Hire Orientation: Conduct new hire orientation sessions to introduce new employees to the company, its policies, and procedures. Facilitate introductions between new hires and key team members to foster a sense of belonging and integration. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collect and maintain employee documentation, including I-9 forms, tax forms, and confidentiality agreements. Complete I9 Video verifications and coordinate with office staff support to conduct in person verifications when applicable Assist new hires with benefits enrollment and other administrative tasks as needed. Onboarding Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process, answering questions and providing guidance as needed. Coordinate logistics for new hire training, equipment setup, and workspace preparation. Monitor new hires' progress and address any concerns or challenges that may arise during the onboarding period. Integration and Engagement: Partner with hiring managers and team leaders to facilitate integration activities and ensure new employees feel welcomed and supported. Solicit feedback from new hires to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance the onboarding experience. Leave Administration: Manage the entire leave process, including reviewing leave requests, determining eligibility, and communicating leave policies to employees. Process and track all types of leave, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, personal leave, and other statutory or company-provided leaves. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations. Maintain accurate leave records and documentation. Employee Support and Advocacy: Provide assistance and advocacy to employees navigating complex leave situations or accommodations. Work closely with employees, HR partners, and external resources (e.g., healthcare providers, legal counsel) to facilitate successful leave outcomes. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. HR Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Update employee handbook and other HR documents as needed. Provide training to employees on HR policies and procedures. HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics. Manage FML Support HR Directors with personnel transitions and other support tasks Assist in HR-related projects and initiatives as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in onboarding, HR administration, or related roles.
