Job Title EPASS GBM.025 Systems Analyst, Senior Location Ohio- Kettering Office - Kettering, OH 45409 US (Primary) Job Description Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to perform support as part of the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate located at Kettering, OH (Dayton, WPAFB). This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in systems analysis, to include the below essential duties: Perform work that involves applying analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. Performing needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions; Consulting with customers to identify and recommending requirements; Recommending overall functional and systems requirements and specifications; Conducting business process reengineering; Conducting feasibility studies and trade-off analyses; Preparing business cases for the application of IT solutions; Recommending systems scope and objectives; Developing cost estimates for new or modified systems; Ensuring the integration of all systems components, e.g., procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware; Planning systems implementation Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process. Job Requirements Possessthe advanced knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise. (Program Office, Enterprise and Staff Level Support interface) High school diploma is required. Advanced Degree (MA/MS) or Doctorate from an ABET accredited program in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering Discipline and 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD, or BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited program in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering Discipline and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD, or,15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications is required; 8 of which must be in the DoD. Certification Requirements: Possesses any or all of the following, or similar certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, (or associate) AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure equivalent Current certification in Oracle/OCI products and/or databases CompTIA Security+ CE Agile/Scrum Certifications Other Qualifications: This position will lead one or multiple Scrum teams for product development efforts.
